Want a User-Friendly URL / Custom Username / Vanity URL (or whatever else you would like to call it) for your Facebook Business Page?

Are you wondering how come all the other business pages you come across have really friendly URL’s and yours has loads of parameters attached to it?

Well the solution is actually really very simple. You MUST have at least 25 fans before you can create this Custom Username / User-Friendly URL / Vanity URL.

Just suggest your site to everyone you know and wait for 25 fans. One way to speed this up is to catch your friends when they are connected to Facebook It is easy, just check the ‘Chat’ box to see who is online and send them a chat message. No-one will refuse a request when you approach them directly.

Just copy/paste the very unfriendly URL into the chat box and ask them to ‘like’ it.

Once you have your 25 fans go to: http://www.facebook.com/username/.

Click ‘Set a username for your pages’.

Find the page name in the dropdown.

Enter your preferred URL. Be careful here as there is no way to update this once you have chosen something.
