Add a LinkedIn Button to your Facebook Company Page
Want to link from Facebook to LinkedIn from your Facebook company page?
The following instructions can be used for linking any image from the left side of your company page, however, I have used the LinkedIn button for this example.
You could use this same process to add your company logo and link directly to your website or whatever else you feel appropriate. Once you have the LinkedIn code you can just update it with your image and link.
Just follow these easy steps:
1. Click ‘Edit page’ under your company page image
2. Find ‘View my profile – FBML’
3. Click ‘Application settings’
4. Check settings are ‘Box: Added – Tab: Available (of course you can select the tab if you would like a tag too)
4. Click ‘Close’
5. Click ‘Edit’ under the ‘View my profile – FBML’ section
6. Type a heading for this new box in the ‘Box Title’ section
Now you need to get the code for the FBML section above from your LinkedIn account:
1. Login to your LinkedIn account
2. Click “Edit Profile” from the “Profile” dropdown menu in the top navigation bar of the home page
3. Click “Edit Public Profile Settings” in the top right-hand corner of the Profile page
4. Click the “customized buttons” link found in the Public Profile box
5. Choose a logo button and copy the HTML code provided next to it
6. Paste the code into the FBML section
It is as easy as that. You now have a button to your LinkedIn profile directly from your Facebook page.
