There are various applications around that will let you connect your Twitter account with your Facebook page. This means that your Tweets will appear simultaneously on your Facebook wall. Initially this might seem like a great idea, however, most of your Facebook Fans are probably not interested in seeing all of your Tweets, and if you have a Facebook Business Page it is very likely you don’t want everything you Tweet to appear on your wall.
So How Do You Avoid Tweet Spam?
Well actually this is very simple.
1. Disconnect any applications you use that feed your Tweets to Facebook.
2. Login to your Facebook account.
3. Go to this URL: http://apps.facebook.com/selectivetwitter/
4. Here you will see 4 tabs:

Enter your Twitter user in the ‘Your Profile’ tab:

5. Click the ‘Your Fan Pages’ tab
Enter your Twitter user name into the box. Notice that next to each of the pages for which you have Admin rights you will be able to “Grant Permission”

6. Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page and then “Grant Permission” for the relevant pages.
7. You will be directed to a pop-up window where you should grant access to this application to connect to your Twitter account.
8. Every Tweet that you want to appear on your Facebook wall you just add #fb to the end of the Tweet.
9. Within the ‘Settings Tab’ you can change the settings slightly if you should so wish.
10.Enjoy – and don’t forget to leave this guy a donation. I think he deserves it. This is a great application.
A higher Quality Score will help you pay less for each click on your ad as well as help you gain higher rankings than your competition.
Google introduced the Quality Score in order to keep spammers out of the top results and enable the advertisers who follow Google’s guidelines to pay less for higher rankings. This is great news for honest advertisers.

Recently I have been looking for a backlink tracker. Of course whenever I search for a new tool I always start off by looking for free ones. Fairly quickly I came across Backlink Reporter.
I was looking for a tool that will help me save some valuable time and keep a track of my backlink requests etc.
This free link tracker looks pretty cool and seems to have most of the basic functionality that I require. BTW if any of you are wondering, I am not an affiliate for this site, I just thought it looks good and is presented nicely via video.
The only thing you need to do in return for the use of this software is to add a link to your site. Well, that shows that he certainly knows what he is doing in regards to his backlink strategy
Let me know what you think or if you use other good free backlink tracker tools.

So you chose the best website designer in town, and spent many hours and probably many $$$ optimizing and designing your homepage, however, did you consider the homepage usability or did you just design it based on what looked good and what you thought was important?
It is one thing to get visitors to your website but a whole other challenge to actually get them to convert.
Ask yourself the following questions and optimize your homepage accordingly:

SEO link building is such a time consuming part of our SEO work in order to gain high rankings on the SERPS, so how do we decide exactly which type of links we should be looking for in order for us to create a link building strategy?
Search Engines take a variety of factors into consideration in their ranking algorithms. This information is a closely guarded secret, however, we know that much of the ranking relies on the below 4 items:

Want to link from Facebook to LinkedIn from your Facebook company page?
The following instructions can be used for linking any image from the left side of your company page, however, I have used the LinkedIn button for this example.
You could use this same process to add your company logo and link directly to your website or whatever else you feel appropriate. Once you have the LinkedIn code you can just update it with your image and link.

I have recently been building up a list of free article sites to submit articles and thought that others could find an updated list of article sites useful.
As I was doing this research I noticed that there were sometimes significant variations in Page Rank from that mentioned in older articles on other sites, so keep in mind that depending on when you find this post this data might have changed.
I also found quite a lot of broken links and removed these, however, feel free to notify me if you find broken links or different Page Ranks. Read More…

As part of my profession I am constantly looking for new ways to generate keywords for SEO and PPC and recently I have started using a new keyword tool by WordStream which could be used for SEO and PPC keyword research: http://www.wordstream.com/keywords/.
This tool is extremely user-friendly and generates an abundance of keywords and phrases – much more than I have seen in other free and paid keyword tools I have used over the years. I am still in the process of testing some of the keywords and phrases that appear as having high relative search volume to see if the search volume is correct. If anyone reading this post has any results I would love to hear your feedback.
Of course one of the one great things about this tool is that is for free. When you start using this tool you might wonder, as I did, why they would offer this keyword generator for free. In their FAQ that state that they make money by selling their keyword management solution.
Some users might not like the fact that they do not supply actual statistics of how many times a term has been used, instead they supply a scale of the relative search volume, but I have to admit that often the statistics supplied by some of the free and paid keyword tools around seem totally unrealistic so relative volume is fine as far as I am concerned. Anyhow, when you see how many new terms this tool will supply you I think you might forgive them.
After you have tried this keyword tool I would really love to hear your feedback. I would also love to hear from you if you have any other free or paid keyword tools that you like working with.
Happy keyword researching….

It is very exciting setting up your first Pay Per Click Campaign, however, unfortunately most people rush into this project without any prior experience and are then surprised that they are not getting the amount of leads they expected or that the campaigns are costing far too much.
Many first timers set up one ad group, add tons of unrelated keywords, and then have all these keywords pull up one or two advertisements. Often these advertisements are then linked to the website homepage.
If this is the way you are running your campaigns at the moment, STOP, don’t read any further. Login to your Adwords account and pause all of your Ads as you are just throwing money away.
